This rapid qualitative study examined barriers to graduation for university students in Guatemala & El Salvador studying at universities supported by Advance, a higher education and workforce development program. Working on a research team of three, I developed instruments; facilitated focus groups and interviews in Guatemala; and coded and analyzed the data for the study, resulting in a written report to synthesize findings. Following this, I co-facilitated workshops with country office staff and the universities to validate and disseminate findings.
